Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar was from the Dalit caste which was considered to be low. When he went to school as a child, the teachers would make him sit on the floor while the other students each had a mat. Since he was considered an untouchable, he would be made to sit at a distance from his fellow students and was mocked by them. At the end of the day he was made to clean to clean the whole school with other Shudras (the caste considered untouchable). All this effected Dr. Ambedkar emotionally and mentally while making him hope for a better future, making him ambitious.
