Blood clotting is the process of forming a clot or thrombus in order to prevent excess loss of blood from the body. It is a gel-like mass which is formed by the platelets and fibrin in the blood. A blood clot consists of a plug of platelets enmeshed in a network of water insoluble fibrin molecules.

Hope it helps you...........

Answer:

hi friends,here is your answer

Blood cloating is a system of our body to reduce the loss of blood from the wound. Our bloods consist of some small particles which are usually smaller than rbcs. The particles are known as platelets. When ever our body recieves an wound, the platelets reach the target area and bind together to form fibers. The fibers form together as an temporary membrane that stops the blood cells from coming out any more and thus we term the situation as blood clots.
