Write a note on Chaitanya and nanak

Chaitanya was a devotee of Krishna. He was born in Bengal. His teachings attracted a large section of the society that included Hindus and Muslims and people from lower castes. He gave importance to universal love as the first step towards the love of God.

Guru nanak was a very important saint of the Indian subcontinent.He was born in Talwandi (now Nanak Sahib in Sheikhupura district of Pakistan), in 1469. He was married and had two sons. Like Kabir, Guru Nanak emphasised the worship of one God ( Ek omkar) . The teachings and philosophy of Guru Nanak form an important part of Indian philosophical thought.
