chlorophyll is a green pigment present in plants.

Explanation:

without chlorophyll plants cannot survive. The reason for the chlorophyll to exist is due to a plastids present in plants name chloroplasts. Not every plants need chlorophyll to survive eg:- carnivorous plants.

chlorophyll is mostly present in leaves and unripe fruits
