Prothrombin, calcium and fibrinogen are all normal constituents of blood. But thromboplastin is released only when there is a damage in a blood vessel or tissue cell the release of thromboplastin from thrombocytes or blood platelets brings about a series of changes or events which finally produces a blood clot.

I hope help you

Answer:

Coagulation of blood is actually the process by which the liquid blood turns into a gel-like form, eventually creating a blood clot.

  • Blood clot formation or coagulation is the process by which the form of blood changes and results in hemostasis, where the blood flow stops from the blood vessels after there is an injury and repair occurs after that.
  • The entire process occurs in three steps – vascular spasm where the vessels are constricted followed by the creation of the plug of platelets and finally coagulation, which introduces a fibrin mesh to that plus and acts as a glue.
  • Blood clotting is important as it allows animals and humans to recover from open injuries, and in the absence of this process, they would bleed to death.
