There are five types of motion

I) Rectilinear motion : motion along a straight line is called rectilinear motion. when a body travels along a straight it is said to be rectilinear motion.

II) circular motion : When a body only travels around a circular ground then this type of motion is said to be circular motion.

III) Curvilinear motion : when a body covers a curve line it is said to be curvilinear motion .

IV) Uniform motion : when a body covers equal distance in equal period of time. This type of motion is said to be uniform motion.

V) Non-uniform motion : when a body covers equal distance in unequal period of time. This type of motion is said to be non - uniform motion.
