(A)Inhalation :-

1) Diaphragm - flattens

2) Intercoastal muscles - contract

3) Capacity of lungs - increases

4) Pressure of the lungs - decreases than the atmospheric pressure

(B)Exhalation :-

1) Diaphragm - moves upward

2) Intercoastal muscles - relaxes

3) Capacity of lungs - decreases

4) Pressure of the lungs - increses than the atmospheric pressure .So, the air is pulled outside.
