# Plastids are cell organelle found only in plant cells. There are 3 types of plastids-

1.Chromoplast- They have yellow and orange pigments and also have carotenoids. They give colours to fruits and plants.

2.Chloroplast- They are green in colour. They have chlorophyll. Photosynthesis is the primary function.

3.Leucoplast- They are colourless. They store starch or lipids(Elaioplasts).

They are oval, disc shaped or spherical in shape.
