Forest take up this CO2 for themanufacture of their food and release oxygen to the atmaosphere after photosynthesis . In this way they are helpful in cleaning the air .

Air .
It helps i. purifying the air by adding oxygen into it. It takes carbon dioxide gas during photosynthesis thus green house effect is controlled . Transpiration helps in the formation of clouds and thus it maintains the temperature of surrounding area , giving cooling effect.

Soil.
Plants in forests hold the soil . Thereby preventing soil erosion . It holds thesoil which helps in increasing the underground water level. Adda nutrient to the soil due to lot pg vegetation present in forests gets decomposed.

Water.
Forests helps in bringing rain and increasing the level of water in the underground and water bodies ....
