The purpose of newspaper is to give people information about the current important happenings in the form of news reports. On other pages, newspapers may include entertainment articles or articles on some current topic trending in the country or specific area.
Written text is the main part of a book or magazine. Written text can be the plot of a book, minutes of a meeting, notice, memorandum circulated among colleagues, and fellow workers; written text may be the script of a speech or dialogue; it can be the thesis of a researcher, etc.
