Julius caesar was a populist Roman dictator, politician and military general who played a critical role in the events that led to the demise of the Roman Republic. It is a tragedy by Shakespeare. Julius caesar was born in 100 BC in Rome to a well known and rich family. The young Caesar went on to Egypt , where he involved himself in upholding the rule of Cleopatra.
