  • The Delta region of the Ganga, Mahanadi, Godavari, Krishna, and Kaveri flooded by tidal waves.
  • The Tidal Vegetation grows in swamps and Marshes of salt and freshwater.
  • Mangroves are the typical Vegetation.
  • Sundari trees are important trees of this forest. That is why Sundarban is the name given to the Tidal forests of Ganga Delta.
