It is defined as the first stage of the flowing plants where the plant grows via the apical meristem in length or base width. This is a psychological process on the plant when the plant is grown. - Meristematic tissue are those which are actively associated with the growth of the plant. Now, the meristematic tissue first change in the shape.
- There is increased growth of plastochromes and other appendages.
- This is followed by the growth of axillary meristem.
- The growth mainly takes place in the internodes.
- The apex of the plant was earlier Vegetative but now it got changed into the reproductive apex.
- There is increase in division of each cells at the meristematic.
