Marginalization involves people being denied their fundamental rights which results in lowering their economic and social status. A Muslim is someone who follows or practices Islam, a monotheistic Abrahamic religion.

Muslims are India’s largest minority. They deserve to be treated as citizens with equal rights. However, this community is marginalised in economic and political life.
