Ozone Layer is the part of the earth's atmosphere which contains relatively high concentration of ozone (03). Relatively high means a few parts per million much higher than the

concentration in the lower atmosphere. Ozone gas protects of Earth's atmosphere from the harmful ultraviolet rays providing a Shield that protects our atmosphere

The main cause of the depletion of the Ozone Layer are the CFC that is chlorofluorocarbons . This was revealed by the atmospheric research in the year 1976. Venus also has ozone layer at an altitude of 100 kilometres.
