• Olympic flag was created in 1913 at the suggestion of Baron Pierre de Coubertin.

• It was first hosted in 1920 Olympic games at Antwerp.

• It is made of white silk and contains five interlocking rings in five colours yellow, red, green,blue and black representing the five continents of the world.

• The interlocking rings symbolises cooperation and friendship.
