Razia was the daughter of Iltutmish. ltutmish had nominated his daughter as his successor because she possessed all kingly qualities. But the Turkish Nobles placed Iltutmish’s Ruknuddin to the throne because they did not want to be ruled were by a woman. Later on Ruknuddin was imprisoned and killed, of Ruknuddin Razia ascended the throne in 1236 AD. rule was full of difficulties. There were revolts all around and she was murdered with her husband in 1239 AD.

She was very brave, but her enemy were very selfish, cruel and etc.. so they conspired and killed her.. She ruled over delhi about 1236 to 1240...
