Repetition is more of a rhetoric device than figure of speech which can be used in prose as well as poetry. In repetition words, phrases, a line or an idea is repeated more than once to emphasize a point and its significance in a text. Repetition can occur in different modes which can be repetition of a sound as in alliteration or repetition of words at the start of clauses or verses as in anaphora. The examples are:
Example 1. Water, water every where, Not a drop to drink
Water, water every where, all the boards did shrink
This is an example from The Rime of the Ancient Mariner. The repetition of water here points at the magnitude of the sea.
Example 2: And miles to go before I sleep, and miles to go before I sleep.
The given line is from Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening by Rober Frost, and the repetition signifies the poet's intent to keep on his journey of life.
Example 3: Because I do not hope to turn again
Because I do not hope
Because I do not hope to turn...
These three lines have been taken from Ash-Wednesday by T.S. Eliot show the mastery of the poet in using words and phrases to make his point clear and emphasize that he has no hope of coming back.
Example 4: I'm nobody! Who are you?
Are you nobody too?
The given line from I'm nobody! Who are you? by Emily Dickinson emphasize her point in her poem to create an association with the person she is talking about.
Example 5: I have a dream...
The sentence is repeated time and again in the speech by Martin Luther King Jr, and it could change the course of history due to the emphasis he laid on the thought.
