Ringworm is a skin infection that is caused by Fungi that lives on dead tissues of our skin, nails, and hair. Anyone can get one on any of these areas, including scalp. When you get one in toes, it is called athlete's foot. It it is spread to groin, it is called jock itch.

The sign is a red, bump or scaly patch that itches too much. In time, it turns into a ring or circular. Sometimes there are more than one rings. The inside is clear and scaly. It starts as a sore, and hairs in that area start to fall.
