Explanation:

Shankaracharya was born in a village called Kaladi in Kerala in the 8th century. He was an advocate of Advaita Vedanta, the doctrine of oneness of the individual soul with the supreme god and he believe that God and his created beings are one and the same and the only way to salvation was realised through knowledge (jnan) that God and the created beings are one and the same.

Shankaracharya, one of the most prominent saints of the Bhakti movement and was a believer of the doctrine of oneness of the individual soul and the supreme God also called Advaita. He believed that brahman the ultimate reality was formless and without any attributes.
