• Self Help groups are community-based groups which are formed with approximately 10-20 members( male or female).

• There are several socio-economic benefits of these groups which include education awareness, self-independence and also participation in various affairs of the village.

• These are groups having common interests and collectively work towards betterment of the society. It helps to bring the unprivileged section of the society to the forefront.
