Right to Information is act of the Parliament of India to provide for setting out the practical regime of the right to information for citizens and replaces the erstwhile Freedom of information Act, 2002.

RTI( right to information act) was passed on June 2005 and came to force on October 2005

By this act u have the authority to ask government about its work...

like- how much money was used to make the road near ur house

the road the near ur house was to be made 2months earlier why hadn't it been made since now ...
