GOOD QUESTION .I’ll HELP YOU WITH IT.

MOST PEOPLE ASK QUESTIONS THAT WHEN THERE IS NO WAR WHAT DOES THE INDIAN AIRFORCE DO?

ITS VERY SIMPLE IT PREPARES FOR WAR. BUT THIS NOT THE ONLY THING THE IAF DOES.

YOUR ANSWER:

IN THE NORTH EAST REGIONS AND EXTEREME NORTH REGIONS THE CLIMATIC CONDITIONS CAN GET WORST FOR HABITAT. AND HERE COMES THE MIGHTY IAF , THE HELICOPTERS AND TRANSPORT AIRCRAFTS PLAY A SIGNIFICANT ROLE. THE HELICOPTERS HELP TO RESCUE PEOPLE FROM LOW ALTITUDE AREAS DURING FLOODS, AND THE TRANSPORT AIRCRAFTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR DELIVERING FOOD PACKETS TO THE REMOTE AREAS.

HERE FIGHTER AIRCRAFTS CAN’T DO ANYTHING , SO EVEN IF SOMEONE IS AIMING FOR BECOMING A CHOPPER OR A TRANSPORT PILOT , HE/SHE IS GONNA DO A LOT OF GOOD DEEDS FOR WHICH PEOPLE WILL REMEMBER.

The role of IAF indispensable on the outbreak of such atrocities. The activity ranges from rescue missions, relief activity, transportation of supplies etc.The airforce work handinhand with Army,Navy,Coastguard,NDRF and other organisations.

Answer:

In calamity situations, the first casualty will be the communication lines. Hence to have a fair idea of the extent of the calamity, and also to reach immediate succour to the impacted population, the IAF conducts an aerial survey. In areas closer to the Sea ,where Navy is present in significant strength,Naval Aircraft may also do this survey. The task is undertaken at the request of the DIstrict Adminiostration/DIstrict Disaster Management Authority, or the State Disaster Management Authority. The first Call ordinarily will go tothe nearest Army Camp, and they would suggest the involvement of Air Force/Navy/COPast GUard ,as the case may be. But the roles may be reversed or modified as per location.
