Answer. Answer: The Tirukkural is a classic Tamil language text consisting of 1,330 couplets or Kurals. The text is divided into three books, each with aphoristic teachings on virtue (aram, dharma), wealth (porul, artha) and love (inbam, kama).

Popularly known as General Gospel on social truth, in couplet form, by a philosopher of India. As settlement system of human life become a norm in various parts of the world, human societies faced a problem, i.e., issues of harmonious co-existence among the competing human social groups in addition to existing competition among the human social group itself. This has necessitated a huge set of guidelines, some like values, some like norms, and some like customs. They majorly govern the human relationships for the peaceful harmonious co-existence. If it happens in the name of god, it has taken the religious form. But some are like Thirukural- General Gospel of truth; has been told without the name of god, but definitely with blessings of God.
