hope it helps✌✌

Phloem and xylem represent two distinct kinds of conductive tissue that carry water and nutrients in plant.

  • A lengthy, non-living canal called xylem travels through into the stem as from roots to the foliage.
  • When the water enters the xylem, it has moved from to cell via osmosis after being received by that of the root system.
  • Following this, the xylem vessels carry this fluid towards the leaf, where it is transpired and turned into vapour.
  • The strain brought about by transpiration "manages to pull" the liquid inside the plant's vascular tissue upwards, much like how sucking on something like a straw draws water higher.
  • Even as uppermost water is pumped forward towards the stomata, bonding clinging to one another—causes additional water particles to fill the void in the xylem.
