COAXIAL CABLE:-

coaxial is a type of electrical cable that has an inner conductor surrounded by a tubular insulating layer, surrounded by a tubular conducting shield. Many coaxial cables also have an insulating outer sheath or jacket.

• Depending upon the difference in technologies, three types of cables are used within Business networks: twisted pair cables, coaxial cables and optical fiber cables. Each of these have distinctive features that makes them more suitable to a certain type of application.

• Coaxial cables are more expensive than the Twisted Pair cables but they are better shielded and thus support longer cable lengths.
