Hey dear,

● Vulcanization of rubber -
- Vulcanization is nothing but the hardening of rubber.
- This process was developed by Charles Goodeyer.
- Most commonly used method is treatment of natural rubber with sulphur or other equivalent curatives.
- This rubber has high intermolecular cross polymer chains.
- Vulcanized rubber etracts to its original shape when stress is released.

Hope this helped you. Thanks for asking..

Answer:

Hello friend thank you for asking this question.

Vulcanization of rubber is a procedure of progress of the rubber flexibility and quality by warming it within the sight of sulfur, which results in three-dimensional cross-connecting of the chain rubber particles (polyisoprene) attached to one another by sulfur molecules.

Vulcanization technique has the following stages:

  1. Blending of unrefined rubber with around 5-30% of sulfur (cross-connecting specialist) and different added substances, for example,
  2. activator (ordinarily zinc oxide or stearic corrosive),
  3. quickening agent  ,
  4. coagulants (acidic corrosive, calcium chloride),
  5. enemies of oxidants,
  6. shading colors,
  7. surfacants,
  8. conditioners (oils),
  9. insect frothing specialists,
  10. anti-tack specialists

Moreover, rigidity;   versatility;  hardness;  tear quality;  scraped area obstruction &  protection from Solvents are some of the Properties of rubber improved by vulcanization:
