[ Help To Amphan Stricken Victims ]
All the students are aware that Cyclone Amphan, hit West Bengal on May 20 claiming 86 lives and affecting over 10 million people. The storm in West Bengal caused massive damage to standing crops, thousands of trees were uprooted, and power and water supply was interrupted. Many people have lost their entire homes as well. In West Bengal the financial losses are assumed around 1 lac crore. Among the worst affected districts in West Bengal are Howrah, Hooghly, North and South 24 Parganas, Kolkata, East and West Midnapore, Nadia and East Burdwan.
As the citizens, it is our national duty to help the super cyclone Amphan Stricken Victims. So we have decided to do substantial help to the Super cyclone Amphan striken victims of West Bengle on 15th June 2020. Therefore, we appeal to all the students, teachers and non-teaching staff to contribute generously to the Super cyclone Relief Fund. The names of all those who donate Rs. 100/- and more will be published in our school magazine. The donation should be deposited to their respective class teachers before 10th June 2020. The total collection will be sent to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
