Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is a cleanliness campaign run by the government of India initiated by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.It is an important awareness programme among the citizens of India swachh Bharat Abhiyan is also called the clean India mission.
It is a national level campaign run by the government of India to clean up all the backward statutory towns..the campaign involves the construction of toilets in promoting sanitation programme in the rural and urban areas cleaning streets, Roads, water bodies. It is hope that providing a clean environment and improving the infrastructure of the country may add to the progress of the country Mahatma Gandhi dreamed to make a clean India and always put his hard efforts towards swachata in India to complete the vision of the father of the nation swachh Bharat Abhiyan was launched on 2nd October of 2014 and to complete it successfully by 2019 that is by 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

The aim of the mission is to cover all the rural and urban areas of the country to present it an ideal country before the world the mission is to bring behavioural changes in people and motivate hell their practices spread awareness awareness among people.
