Keeping the students abreast with the latest issues, Manav Rachna International School, Charmwood organised an Inter House English Declamation Competition on 24th July 2015 for the students of classes VIII- X. The competition aimed to promote the skills of effective Public speaking. The participants enthusiastically expressed their views on the topics : ‘ To Try and Fail Is Better Than Not to Have Tried at All, Smart Phones Are Necessary for Social Survival, Changing Face of the Modern Family and When We Heal the Earth, We Heal Ourselves’,. The participants competed with a talented pool of contestants from all the houses. The competition was judged by Ms. Geeta Sharma and Ms. Sunita Singh. The students prepared for the competition under the tutelage of their respective House In charges and teachers. At the end of the competition, while declaring the results, the judges stated that the contestants from all the houses were well prepared and performed amazingly well.
