I was interacting with some migrants at work today. I always thought that living in one’s own country is true freedom.
But when I spoke to them I really understand why people migrate from place to place. Those determined people were sharing their stories as to how their interest of study is not given importance in their countries and they even can’t find certain fields of study in schools.
While they turn out to be experts in certain fields, their talent has to die with no use to anyone if they stay back in the same place. The determination of the migrants is so powerful that they have the will to work anywhere in the world.
Today, I really changed my mind as to how I feel about migrants. There is a lot to learn from them.
