Let the integers be a and b.
According to the Question,
a - b = -13
a = b - 13 ...............(i)
Also,
ab = 36 ...............(ii)
Putting value of a from (i) in (ii),
(b-13) b = 36
b² - 13b - 36 = 0
b² - 9b - 4b - 36 =0
b (b - 9) - 4 (b-9) = 0
