Hi ,

Let a , b € Z

A ) a = - 6 , b = 4

a + b = -6 + 4 = -2 ( negative integer )

B ) If a = - 3 , b = 3 ,

a + b = -3 + 3 = 0

C ) if a = -2 , b = -3

a + b = -2 + ( -3 )

= -2 - 3

= -5 ( less than both the

integers )

D ) if a = -4 , b = 5

a + b = -4 + 5 = 1 < b

E ) if a = 8 , b = 6

a + b = 8 + 6 = 14

I hope this helps you.

Hi,

Here is your answer,

1) a = - 6 , b = 12
 = - 6 + 12   { Add both the numbers } A + B

= 6
 2) a = - 4 , b = 4
 = - 4 + 4  { Add both the numbers ) A + B

= 0
3) a = - 5 , b = - 6
 = -5 + (-3)
= -5 - 3
= -8
4)  a = - 4 , b = 5

 = -4 + 5 = 1 { Add both the numbers A + B }
  5)a = 5 , b = 7
 = 5 + 7 = 12 { Add both the numbers }

Hope it helps you !
