I am from Adi tribe of Arunachal Pradesh. Adi is a very old Tribe of Northeast India and people think it as a backward community. Adi has many superstitions and has many rituals too.

e. g. The people of adi community believes if a baby is born death at the birth spot n thrown in somewhere the land gets impured or, so for that the perform a ritual to sanctify the land or soil.

Besides, there various rituals and believes in the Adi community which are still going on.
