A village fair is an occasion of the village people to enjoy a public gathering. It is one of the most important events for the villagers in a year. The fair is held on a specific occasion including Pahela Baishak, Chaittro Sangkranti, Durga Puja or birthday of a famous writer etc.
There were many stalls like book stalls,toys stalls,utensil stalls etc. Women and girls were busy in buying cosmetics and other things necessary for there household works. The most interesting thing that attracted me were re dancers. Moreover I enjoyed the fair very much.

They were also going to see the fair. They were wearing new clothes. They looked very happy. The women were going to the fair in groups. They were singing folk songs. There was a great activity in the fair. There were shops of all kinds. There were also merry- go-rounds. We had a joy ride in them. There were rope dancers and magicians. The jugglers were also showing their tricks. There was a small temple in the fair. Many scouts were controlling the traffic. They were guiding the people and controlling the crowd.
