On the propitious ceremony of Saraswati Puja, the students from classes I to XII, faculties of school and all other staffs marked the birth anniversary of Lordess Saraswati, Goddess of knowledge, wisdom, literature and art, on Friday in school premises.
The school was beautifully embellished using colourful flowers, bright papers and candles. Devotional songs were being played over the mike. Senior girl students decorated the stage with a very vibrant Rangoli.
The members of Utsav Club coordinated with the student council and staff of the school, under the guidance of Principal S. K. Roy to make this program a success. The ritual was graced with the presence of Mr Mohit Singh, District Education Officer.
At 9:00 hours, all the guests, teachers, staff and students united together to worship Lordess Saraswati with great devotion. After the Puspanjali was given, Prasad was distributed among all the members. The program was compiled by a group song performed by the students of the school
Primary students enacted a small skit signifying the importance of knowledge in life. The program was brought to a conclusion by the closing speech given by the Chief Guest.
