Write a paragraph explaining how the author of “The Silent Songbird” draws upon character types in “The Rainbow Crow.” Use examples from both texts to support your answer. Please help me

In ancient times, there was no creature more beautiful than the Rainbow Crow, a bird whose feathers displayed every color of the rainbow. Rainbow Crow was also a splendid singer. His sweet songs charmed the hearts of the other animals, even mean, selfish Rattlesnake and lonesome Wolf.
One evening Rainbow Crow landed among some animals that had assembled in a clearing. The animals were very anxious. It was already November, and they feared the approaching winter might rival the last few winters, whose biting winds and snowstorms chilled and froze even the hardiest animals to their bones.
“I’ve heard that the Great Sky Spirit has invented a new element-fire-which is just as hot as the winters are cold,” said Rainbow Crow helpfully. The others doubted him at first. However, upon seeing the conviction in his eyes and hearing the resolution in his voice, they began to believe he might be correct. When he volunteered to fly to the kingdom of the Great Sky Spirit and return with some fire, the animals cheered for their champion.
Rainbow Crow limbered his colorful wings and then leapt into the sky, pulling himself high into the chilly clouds. The air become thinner, and the Crow’s muscles began to weaken from exhaustion. Just when he thought he could go no farther; he spotted the domain of the Great Sky Spirit. After learning of the animals’ plight, the Spirit lit a torch from his fire and then offered it to Crow.
“Carrying this will require even greater sacrifice,” said the Spirit.
“It will be no burden if it will help the others,” said the courageous Crow.
Rainbow Crow griped the blazing torch in his break. Immediately, the heat burned him, and smoke irritated his mouth and lungs. Still, he managed to take off and make his way back to Earth. By the time he returned to deliver the precious torch, though, he no longer looked the same. His multicolored wings were forever scorched black, and the hot smoke had burned his lungs, turning his sweet singing voice to a gravely cawing.
The beautiful Rainbow Crow was no more-now he was just regular Crow. But Crow never regretted his decision for a moment and felt proud of the assistance he had brought to his friends. Losing his beauty did not seem like such a sacrifice when he saw the animals gathering around a warm fire to await the cold weather. Crow’s black feather and rough voice were now a symbol of his sacrifice.

The Silent Songbird
By Katie Stem
Madison kept hearing about the auditions for the school musical, and she smile confidently each time. With her magnificent talent for singing- her friends had nicknamed her “The Songbird”-Madison felt certain that she would be chosen for the leading role. On the evening of the auditions, Madison amazed the judges. When the selections began, Madison was the clear choice for the lead role, outdoing her rival, Abigail.
When all the roles had been assigned, Ms. Stimson, the drama teacher, looked at her lists and then at the assembled students. “We don’t have many participants this year,” she said frowning. “We need someone to take the important position of theater assistant, or the show can’t go on. Do we have a volunteer?”
The actors stood silently looking at each other, none of them willing to sacrifice a cherished role on the stage. Just as Ms. Stimson sighed and began putting away her papers, telling the students that the production would be canceled, Madison raised her hand. She volunteered to become the theater assistant. Ms. Stimson, relieved, thanked her and said, “This job is very important, Madison-you’ll be the fire that fuels this whole production.”
