Keeping our surroundings clean will only help in the betterment of society. There are several ways to do so, which can help us make our Earth a healthy planet. While there are so many steps or measures that we can adopt to keep our surroundings pollution-free and clean, a few of them are discussed here. They are, we must not throw waste and garbage anywhere and everywhere, but only in garbage/trash bins.
We must be careful while using papers and must not waste paper which we use to write or print. For instance, many children simply use papers to scribble or make playful things and later they tear this paper and strew it around. This dirties the surroundings and also waste paper which is one of the causes for pollution. We must also keep our places dust-free. It is very important to dust the places we live or use regularly and free it of all the airborne particles.
Dust is unhygienic and also if we allow it to settle, it can be unsafe and harmful. Many people while using disposable items just squash them and throw it away in open surroundings or mix them with biodegradable wastes. This is not right. Disposable plates and glasses must never be mixed with regular degradable wastes but sent to composting facility. Cleanliness and pollution-free environment is a gift that we give our future generation. Don’t let our efforts to make this happen go in vain!
