It was still raining when I spotted the thing, a tiny grey kitten soaked from the relentless weather. She was cold and shivering, but fiesty. in my first attempt to get near her, she hissed incessantly. but after the third try she let me approach. I gave her some of the leftovers from my school lunch, and she seemed to enjoy them thoroughly. I really wanted to take her home, but I knew how angry mom would get if she saw a cat in the house, so unfortunately I had to say goodbye. I was very sad, and so was the kitten. it's okay though! the next day while coming back from school, I saw her sitting in the corner of the street, and she trotted over happily! it's become a sort of routine now, and we're very good friends
