My favourite news channel : DOORDARSHAN
In the year 1982 Doordarshan started its National telecasts. In the same year, color TV was introduced in the Indian market with the live telecast of the Independence Day speech by then PM Indira Gandhi on 15 August 1982, followed by the 1982 Asian Games.
Now we have bouquets of TV news channel in our perusal to update ourselves about current events in and around world.
