As I was walking back home from a friend's birthaday party, I saw a little puppy who was injured on his right leg. Not able to move, it lay quietly whimpering. As I looked, I could see that it was happy to see me as it started wagging its tail. The black and white pup didn't resist when I took him in my arms to take him home to my dad, who was a veterinarian. As my dad and I took care of maddex, as he came to be called, we saw that he belonged in our home. Hence, we now have a two yesr old dog who jumps in excitement every time he sees a family member.
