. Visiting to a village fair

Recently I visited a village named tithipura fair with my parents and my sister. We left the house around 2 and took the 3 hours train to there. The village was decorated beautifully with lights and hand made decorations. On asking my father, he told me that are celebrating their 50 th foundation day. The fair was being help on a big group with a good number of stalls. The stalls had different items such as jalebi, dolls, toy guns, household stuff etc. One of the stalls had magic items in it. One stall had bow and arrows for shooting. This was my first experience with an arrow and I felt like Arjun. There were also people from the nearby villages. There was old man who was telling that he was there when the British founded this village. He built a house here with his wife who had passed away two years ago. I felt really sad for him. Also there were some kids running here and there in a group. Some middle aged woman chatting and some men talking about the recent game. I tasted litti chaukha for the first time here. There were also home made sweets and different food items. I really liked this open atmosphere and didn't want to come to the crowded city with pollutions and people who doesn't even know their neighbours. But Alas! We reached our home at around 12. My sister had already slept. I closed my eyes that day reminiscing the whole memory of the fair again and again.

A paragraph on your visit to a village fair:

Even though we live in a city when we hear the word village our face seems to be happy without any reason. The name of the village I went to an occasion was Nenmeli near Chennai. I went there to attend my family function called thiruvilla in Tamil where everyone the village gathers at one place and they used to celebrate a function with rituals.

There I could able to see lots of shops and things were sold all around like bangles, toys and food stall. It brought me back my old memories when I was a kid. There was a puppet show, orchestra, dramas regarding the historical events.  The people over there were kind and they took so much care on me. It made to forgot all my tensions and freed my stress. My experience with this was awesome and I was happy.

Answer:

Fairs and festivals are held in every town and village of India. The people living in villages have no entertainment except the fairs.

I went to see a village fair with my friend. There were many men, women and children going to see the fair.

They were wearing colorful clothes. They came from the neighboring villages.

First of all, the people worshipped the goddess in the Kali temple. They placed the offerings of sweets in fro of the goddess.

There was a great hustle and bustle in the market there were many shops in a row. There were shops bangles, ready-made garments, toys and sweets. A flute seller was playing on his flute. The children weir enjoying rides on the merry-go-round. There were also rope-dancers and magicians. The snake charmers and jugglers were also there. There were some policemen who were maintaining law and order in the fair.

A small boy had separated from his parents. He was given to his parents by the scouts. When it became dark and we returned to our homes. It was a very happy visit.
