Hello Friend, here is your answer.
(1) Soil is a very good medium for the germination and growth of seeds, it has to be prepared for growing a crop. Preparation of soil involves loosening and turning it. The microorganisms present in soil, decompose the dead organisms and release nutrients present in their body to the soil. It the one of the various agricultural practices for growing crops.
(2) Planting of seeds in the soil is known as sowing. This is done after ploughing. Seeds are dropped into the funnel and they then get planted in the furrows made by the moving plough. It enables the farmers to selectively cultivate only healthy plants. In case of paddy, seedlings are planted in standing at appropriate distances. This ensures uniform availability of sunlight, water and nutrients to the plants.
(3) The unwanted plants that grow along with the crops are called weeds. The removal of weeds is called wedding. It is necessary as weeds use up nutrients which are meant for the crop. They also complete for water and light , and thus, affect the production of the crop. It can be done by following process - (a) Manual removal (b) Tilling before sowing (c) Weedicides.
(4) Fruits and vegetables are plucked with hands. After harvesting, grains are separated from the cut crop. This process is called threshing. This can be done manually or by a machine called thresher. Sometimes in large fields, a farm machine called combine is used. Both harvesting and threshing are done simultaneously by this machine.

Question:
Write a paragraph on , Preparation of soil , sowing , weeding , threshing
Answer:
i) Preparation of soil is the first step during agricultural practices . It is very important to prepare the soil by loosening it before the growing crops. That allows the plant roots to grow deep into the soil during crop production. The loosening of soil help earthworms and microbes to grow in the soil. The top layer of soil supports the plants to grow fast. so loosening of soil help the soil nutrients to come to the top of the soil.
ii) Sowing means to spreading the seeds in the soil. Before sowing we need to separate good quality of seeds. Sowing is generally done by a mechanical machine called seed drill..
iii) including the crop some other plants also grown in the fields. These are called weeds. some time weeds are harmful after harvesting maybe it will cause disease and decreases immunity power in both human and animals. also it can fight with crop to get water and nutrients. so that crops can't get the right quantity of water and nutrients. so we need to remove the weeds from the field. this is the process of removing weeds is called weeding. wedding is done manually by the equipment called as KHURPI..
iv) harvesting the seeds manually done by sickle or by harvester. the harvested crop grain needs to be separated from the Chaff. this process of separating chaffs from the grains is called threshing. this is done by the machine named as "combine" in fact a thresher and harvester.
