From the very ancient period of civilisation trees are our earliest neighbours and best friends. They give us shelter, fruits, vegetables, flowers, furniture, fuel etc. Trees add beauty to nature. We can produce paper, rubber, fibres, honey, herbs, medicine, gum from the various parts of trees. They give us oxygen which enables us to live on this earth. They help to maintain a proper balance of O2 and CO2 in environment. They make the environment free from air pollution. Big trees prevent soil erosion. They bring rain but prevent floods. There are variety of trees all over the world. Some provides us fruits, some flowers, some medicine and more and more. But nowadays, men have been so cruel that they don't think once before cutting the trees. Trees are randomly cut down for the modern civilisation, to build industries etc. But the time is to protect our best friends to save our environment. Trees supply fresh air to the urban population who need in most. We all should take a great role to rescue our mother nature. If we cut down one, we have to make sure to plant two there. We must leave a greener and safer earth for our future generation.
