Kindness is just a quality a person has within themselves. There's nothing to "develop" in it. Generally acts of kindness are perceived to be the ones that are done with a smiling face or things that put a wide smile on someone. Well that is definitely not the case. Kindness can be as simple as smiling at your friend, helping someone with a hard task etc... Basically, anything that comforts a target, and this target is not necessarily a human. it could even be a flower; when you leave it to bloom under the sunlight instead of plucking it. Another perception is that it brings happiness within the person to whom we show acts of kindness. Why not take it the other way around? Acts of kindness can only be done with one's own willingness to do it, that is for one's own happiness and satisfaction. At the end of the day, even being kind is somewhat a selfish process we do for ourselves :)
