A large number of students of both the schools were present to witness the match. At 2 p.m., the teams entered the field and took their positions. After the toss, the referee blew the whistle and the match began. Our school football team played very well from the beginning. We scored four goals before half-time. After the interval, the teams changed the sides. Laxman Public School had managed to score three goals before the interval. Laxman Public School tried their best to equalise the score. The captain of Laxman Public School got the ball and scored an easy goal. The referee blew the whistle and the game came to an end. The match exciting ended in a draw.

Our school's football team played a friendly match with one of our neighbouring school last Sunday. It was truly an interesting match which I have watched in a long time . Though I am not a football enthusiast, I happened to go there because my friends insisted me. As the match got started, I slowly began to grow more interested watching the players play with so much of passion and vigor. Our school performed exceptionally well but lost by a slight margin. It was 3-2 which the other school managed to score in the last few minutes. And though our school lost, we all felt happy because our players were all determined to win in the future.
