There are many historical buildings in Delhi and the

Red fort is one of them . It is famous all over the

world. It is a symbol of unique architecture and

majesty.

Originally built by Indian emperor Raja Annagpal Tomar it's said to be destroyed and reconstructed by Shah Jahan in the years of 1648 . It is made up of red stone and is situated at the west bank of river Yamuna, in front of the famous Chandni chowk market.

The red fort also has many other bulidings for may different purposes inside it like Diwan-e-am where the common people came to take their justice and Diwan-e-khas where the royal meetings were held. Many beautiful stones have been taken away by the British but still it looks majestic and beautiful.
