Near my house, there was a polling both set up for the elections. Lot of security was maintained at the location. It was actually set up in the community hall of our colony. There were tents of different political parties and outside the polling booth, there were lot of banners displayed. A team of members were present at the location. They were guiding the voters and giving the slips to them.
The elections were taking place in a disciplined manner. Continuous patrolling was taking place inside the booth to avoid any kind of chaos. Only one voter at a time was allowed to enter the room where the ballet paper was given and when the voter cast his vote, an ink mart was put as a sign of giving vote. No means of cheating took place and hence result into a successful election.

Almost after months of voracious election campaigns across the state the polling date has arrived atlast. Electronic voting machines were arrived at the polling booth and all set for receiving voters. All the political parties were ordered to pull off their election campaigns and warned not to perform any political stunts on the polling date.
In my locality, the election commission has set up a polling booth in a famous higher secondary school and deployed CRPF soldiers to guard it. The polling has started around 8 Am of this morning and people started to arrive by 8:30 Am. I have witnessed many people standing in queue to cast their vote with calmness. Found many volunteers helping the people who came to cast their vote.
Voting has packed up abruptly by 6:30 Pm and no one was allowed to cast their vote after the time. Later the voting machined were locked and taken to the district head quarters.
