Children’s Day is celebrated in India on 14th November every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru, senior Indian National Congress leader and also the first Prime Minister of India. Jawaharlal Nehru oversaw the proceedings of the INC during the freedom struggle.
