Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak the famous revolutionary freedom fighter and one-third of the famous Lal-Bal-Pal said that “Freedom is my birthright and I shall have it”. During the freedom struggle, the leaders are required to instigate a feeling that freedom is a necessity and no one can take it away from you. The leaders need the full cooperation of the public in order to get their freedom and also prove to the Britishers that the country is one and ready to govern itself. Slogans such as Do or Die etc played a very crucial role in instigating a feeling of oneness and a need to be free from British rule. Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak explained to the masses that it is not wrong to ask for once freedom, he told that when the British have the right to freedom why not the Indians. He instigates that freedom is once birth right i.e. whoever is born has the right to be free.
